Management of the Council

The Council is serviced by the Secretariat which is headed by the Registrar. The Registrar is the Chief Executive Office of the Council and is responsible for day to day management of the Council Operations and resources.

The Registrar is responsible for the implementation of policies and decisions of the Board. The Registrar is supported by Deputy Registrar. The Registrar is supported by functional heads responsible  for executing technical and administrative aspects of the Council. The Director of Registration and Licensing is responsible for registration and licensing of teachers and management of data bank  for teachers.

The Director is supported by Registration and Licensing Manager and Officer. Director of Compliance is responsible  for monitoring and enforcement of ethics and profession standards. He/She is supported by Minotoring and Enforcement Manager and Officer and Investigation Officer.

The Registrar is also supported by the Finance Manager, Human Resources and Administration Manager, ICT Officer, Procurement Officer. In Research and Planning the Council shall be served by Planning Officer and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. The Registrar will also  be supported by Public Relations and Stakeholder engagement to promote good public image and Internal Auditor to ensure  prudent use of resources and proper management of risks and uncertainties.
