Public Relations and Stakeholders Engagement

The Unit will be responsible for linking with various stakeholders including development partners, media and shareholder by facilitating information sharing to meet Government mandatory requirement for access to information by the public. The Unit will also be attending to stakeholder enquiries, queries, complaints and claims. Beside these, it will also be responsible for corporate communication and coordination as a spokesperson for the Council.

Purpose 

The purpose of the Unit will be “To Provide public relations and stakeholder engagement services”.

Functions

The Unit will be undertaking the following functions: –

  1. The coordination and provision of communication services;
  2. The provision of public relations services; and
  3. The management of stakeholder engagement.

 

Establishment

The Unit will be serviced by 1 x Public Relations and Stakeholder Engagement Officer (TC5).
