Welcome to the Teachers Council of Malawi Website! I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for embarking on this remarkable journey of establishing the much-anticipated Teachers Council of Malawi.

Enshrined within the Education Act of 2013, the Teachers Council of Malawi is mandated to regulate the teaching profession in our nation. Our primary aim is to champion professional integrity and ethical standards through transparent regulations, thereby catalyzing a profound enhancement in the quality of education across our schools and colleges.

Comprising dedicated educators, our Council is fervently committed to advancing the teaching profession. To streamline our efforts, we have instituted several committees entrusted with various responsibilities.

Education serves as the cornerstone for our nation’s economic progress and prosperity. Agenda 2063 underscores the indispensable role of an educated and skilled human capital in driving national development. Therefore, nurturing a cadre of proficient educators is paramount in elevating educational outcomes.

I urge all teachers to register using our user-friendly online platform or through offline channels. Our secretariat stands poised to assist any teacher encountering challenges during the registration process.
